Today we get another big set of photos of the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Christmas,’ release date expected around the middle of December. As you’d expect with a Christmas release (maybe, although the Melo M8 is basically the inverse of this shoe), the LeBron 9 ‘Christmas’ goes for red over most of the Hyperfuse/Flywire/carbon-fiber-textile upper with contrast green laces, white Swoosh and a thick translucent outsole. Following repeated glimpses of the attractive, but not particularly intuitively colored LeBron 12 that pairs teal with grey, today we get a lot more team-oriented, with the LeBron 12 Lion Heart.Sporting a look inspired both by LeBron’s lionesque leanings and his new team, the shoe pairs a deep red mesh upper with white overlays. Black accents add a two-pronged contrast and light red colors the occasional branding, while an icy blue outsole sits beneath.Details are still developing, both for this colorway and the model in general, but at the moment the Nike LeBron 12 Lion Heart release date is set for October 31. Air Max LeBron VIIThe Air Max LeBron VII was unveiled today on a global webcast. There are a lot of details, but suffice to say this is the “most innovative signature shoe for LeBron James” so far, and it includes the first basketball-specific max air 360 unit, adding eighty percent more air than in the previous full-length unit and, like many recent Nike shoes, is heavy on flywire. Cool aesthetic point: the oustole features a 3D decoder key which, when rotated shows off the following—Passion, Fearless, Tradition, Community, Family, Loyalty, and other “call-outs” important to LeBron.
