The NBA postseason draws ever nearer, a time when players must step-up their game to compensate for a season’s worth of fatigue, both physical and mental. And so players like LeBron James and Kevin Durant will lace up special altered versions of their signature shoes, and today we get a look at a colorway of the former’s next model, the Nike LeBron 11 Elite Grey/Red-Black.The sleek upper sports grey and silver on the leather-and-mesh build, with ‘Posite inlaid along the side of the foot and carbon fiber piecing within those areas; midfoot, forefoot and heel. Red appears on the inner-lining and the Swoosh, the latter sporting a sort of multi-piece “armored” look, and the increased-allotment of Flywire adding in black as well.Stay tuned for release info as it develops, and check out a full shot below.Photos via baltsneakershow.
We’ve seen the MVPuppets do everything and adorn all sorts of shirts—Lil Dez even got his own shoe—but they’re finally going to be NBA All-Stars … in the sense that Kobe and LeBron are perennial all-stars but the MVPuppets didn’t exist until after last year’s NBA All-Star Game. Via DimeMag.com, these are the MVPuppets All-Star shirts, one each for Kobe and LeBron and both with the puppets wearing their respective conference’s colors. While there’s no release date announced, it stands to reason you’ll see them as early as this weekend. Above is a close-up of the puppet LeBron graphic, after the jump are shots of both shirts.Nike MVPuppets All-Star Kobe ShirtNike MVPuppets All-Star LeBron Shirt

(But the Kobe BHM hits on February 11th, so … very possibly then.) Unlike the Kobe, which goes for a multi-colored exterior, LeBron’s BHM colorway adds that color pattern to the inner-lining, while hitting the exterior with solid black and grey trim.
