In absence of that, however, I think we can make due with this new feature from Foot Locker documenting the history of the Nike LeBron James line, starting with the Zoom Generation (which, now that we have the benefit of hindsight, is a uniquely attractive shoe) up through the new Nike LeBron 8. Yet another look today, on-foot this time, of the upcoming Nike LeBron XI Armory Slate, an early colorway of LeBron James’s eleventh primary signature shoe.As a quick refresher — we’ve covered this in detail in the past — the shoe pairs olive Armorposite (a lightweight Foamposite derivative) with black Hyperfuse-mesh on the upper, while a multicolored liner offers some pop.The molded tongue is a new addition, ostensibly borrowed from the PS Elite LeBrons, and there’s still full-length Zoom cushioning, though you don’t see it here. A release date isn’t too far off, so keep it locked to NB for details as we get’em.Photos via Solespeed.

That’s if Gentry Humphrey is to believed, and I can’t fathom his incentive for fabrication. The fashion-first Nike Sportswear model utilizes dark denim over the familiar LeBron X upper, with a premium brown leather sock-liner and tongue for buttery-smooth comfort. A pink midsole completes the aesthetic, lending the perfect amount of contrast. As mentioned above, specifics are still in the offing, but Gentry is on record with the Nike LeBron X EXT Denim as a June drop. Stay tuned for clarification the moment we have it.Nike LeBron X EXT QS “Denim”Midnight Navy/Midnight Navy-Hazelnut-FireberryStyle #: 597806-400June 2013$250(ish)#gallery-1 {margin: auto;}#gallery-1 .gallery-item {float: left;margin-top: 10px;text-align: center;width: 33%;}#gallery-1 img {border: 2px solid #cfcfcf;}#gallery-1 .gallery-caption {margin-left: 0;}/* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */Photos courtesy of Long-7.Previous story Nike Roshe Run FOREST CAMO PackNext story Nike KD VI Meteorology | Detailed LookRelated PostsWatch: DJ Qualls and his “$5000” LeBron XFebruary 26, 2014Nike LeBron X Low REPTILE Releases in Two DaysOctober 8, 2013Nike LeBron X Low REPTILE Release DateOctober 1, 2013Honey Nut Cheerios x Nike LeBron X MUST BE THE HONEYSeptember 3, 2013FacebookSearch NikeBlog.comRecent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!Recent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!MIssionTo provide the most up to date news, images, and opinions on today's top sneaker company.FIND ARTICLESHomeAboutAdvertise on NBContactPrivacyTwitterFacebookRSSNikeBlog.com is not affiliated with the Nike, Inc. brand in any way, shape, or form.
