Considering how high-profile the school typically is and the fact that they play in the MAC, alongside such athletic juggernauts as the Toledo Rockets and Ohio Bobcats, it’s nothing short of a miracle that they lucked their way into regularly getting PE’s of LeBron’s signature shoes. Expected to release in the next month or two, the Nike Air Max LeBron VII Akron Zips PE features a navy upper with gold flywire, a gold-outlined white Swoosh and a white midsole. Blue and gold are always a great combination for shoes and this is no exception. You can grab a pair today at MarqueeSole.com, or look to NikeBlog for updates as to an exact release date. Frowny face. I would have been a couple of days ahead of the curve. Anyway, this is the Nike Zoom LeBron VI Low, the first low cut of the shoe, speculated to be released in July. It’s a great representation of the mid, as the standard cut doesn’t have a strap or anything specific that can’t be carried over into a low. The style is great, and I think it will be a fantastic hit, once they come out with some cool colorways that DONT’ HAVE A RED MIDSOLE AGAINST A WHITE UPPER. Figure it out Nike. But besides that this shoe is really rad, maybe destined for classic status.
