So what’s the best way to to let the King know that all is forgiven? Why, celebratory license plates, of course. The Ohio House of Representatives’ Bill Patmon, a Cleveland Democrat, has proposed legislation that would create a “Witness 2.0″ LeBron James license plate to honor the Akron native as he returns home. The specialty plate would be available for an extra $20, a fee that would be split between the state and the LeBron James Family Foundation, an Akron-based charitable organization. At the moment, the proposal remains just that, currently being discussed by Patmon and his House colleagues. If all goes to plan, however, Patmon hopes to have the plate available before the beginning of the NBA season.Stay tuned to NB for updates as they develop, and hit the comments section to let us know if a LeBron James license plate is a good idea.Previous story Nike Air Trainer 1 Low ELEPHANT Grey/Purple-AquaNext story Nike Air Pegasus 89 RIFT BLUE | Remarkable RipstopRelated PostsThe Year in Nike Films | 10 Best Swoosh AdsDecember 30, 2014Watch: LeBron James Talks Signature ShoesDecember 2, 2014Watch: LeBron James ‘Together’ Ad Celebrates Cleveland UnityOctober 30, 2014Watch: Sprite Imagines “LeBron James’ First Home Game”October 28, 2014FacebookSearch NikeBlog.comRecent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!Recent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!MIssionTo provide the most up to date news, images, and opinions on today's top sneaker company.FIND ARTICLESHomeAboutAdvertise on NBContactPrivacyTwitterFacebookRSSNikeBlog.com is not affiliated with the Nike, Inc. brand in any way, shape, or form.
