Update (6/21): This shoe is part of the Nike LeBron Championship Pack, which can be viewed in its entirety here. The Spurs lead the NBA Finals 3-2, meaning the Heat are still two games away from winning the whole thing, at best. At worst, of course (for Miami), the Spurs could close the series out tonight and secure their fifth championship in franchise history. But just in case that best-case scenario goes down, Nike has put together a celebratory shoe for King James, the Nike LeBron X Low 2-Time Champion. A bit premature, sure, but this is merely a sample. In order to have a shoe ready for LeBron following Game 7 they’d need to get started early. (What I’m saying is, don’t read this as Nike and LeBron calling their shot, though I’m sure plenty will choose to interpret it that way.)The LeBron X Low 2-Time Champion sports a green-based multicolored print over much of the upper, with leaf-printed dark trim wrapping the shoe, and a gold Swoosh adding contrast. The congratulatory details come inside the shoes, with one insole reading “2-Time Champion” and the other “11-12 12-13,” the seasons in which LeBron’s heat will have won the titles (assuming they do).Without question one of the best lowtop LeBrons to date, this may just give the neutral fan a little extra incentive to root Heat; this is surely the last we’ll see of the shoe if the Spurs win. // // ]]>Photos via KATC.
Now available for pre-order, the Nike LeBron 8 “Home” Edition features a white/sport red-metallic gold colorway, although that doesn’t exactly tell the whole story. The shoe features unique color-blocking, with a largely white upper contrasted through sport red coloring on the piping, laces, midsole and inner-lining. If you were feeling the “China Moon” LeBron 8 but wanted a little more red, this may be the shoe for you. While footlocker.com is now accepting pre-orders for this online exclusive colorway (that means NOT in stores), it doesn’t ship until December 23rd.Nike LeBron 8 White/Sport Red-Metallic GoldNike LeBron 8 White/Sport Red-Metallic GoldNike LeBron 8 White/Sport Red-Metallic Gold
