And his distinct skill set necessitates footwear that’s just as unique; able to enhance his skills without slowing him down; to maximize explosiveness without forgoing protection.Enter the King’s latest signature shoe, the Nike LeBron 12, focused on three key benefits: cushioning, harnessed support, natural flexibility.Spawned in the Nike Sport Research Lab, the Nike LeBron 12’s innovative design incorporates a myriad of scientific data and analysis based on the precise specifications of basketball’s greatest player, while also accounting for the requirements of the legions of fans and fellow athletes who will wear it.Much of the shoe represents radical departures from the norm, but perhaps none as much as the game-changing outsole. Dubbed Hex-Zoom, the sole system is loaded with five visible Zoom Air bags that offer accelerated explosiveness on every step for an unrivaled ride. The unique hexagonal layout was pressure-mapped to perfectly account for each foot-fall, promising responsive cushioning and a more flexible, natural motion.That Hex-Zoom sole is coupled with an upper constructed from Megafuse, a technology that’s able to minimize weight and maximize breathability by way of a molded, second-skin fit. Dynamic Flywire cables sit beneath the surface, supporting and stabilizing the foot on the fly, and Hyperposite wings bring targeted support and protection to the ankle and midfoot, all without adding bulk or weight.The first Nike LeBron 12 release date is set for October 1 in China, October 12 globally, and will be the grey-and-teal “NSRL” pair named for the aforementioned Nike Sports Research Lab. Just last week, we prophetically pegged the Nike LeBron X EXT Black Suede release date for July 20. Well I hope you’re sitting down, because today we can officially confirm the US release for shoe and it’ll come . . . July 20.The ultra-premium shoe utilizes Nike Basketball’s LeBron X silhoeutte, but incorporates Nike Sportswear’s fashion-first styling. A luxe black suede upper sets the tone, with buttery brown leather complementing on the tongue and sockliner, while a crisp white midsole and mint accents in the full-length Zoom Air unit and on the lacelets round out the look. While we expected the LeBron X to launch with the USA-themed Sport Pack at the end of the month, it would seem that the Nike LeBron X Fireberry release date will come even sooner. The shoe, which sports a dark magenta upper with speckled off-white midsole and gold in the Zoom Air unit, will hit stores September 22nd, according to Nike Las Vegas. This is the Sport Pack edition, meaning it retails for $90 higher than the standard price and comes with Nike Plus functionality.
