Sporting a largely white and black look, contrasted with bits of red, this LeBron 9 sports Freegums’ signature supernatural art printed over the toebox and inner-lining, giving it an entirely unique look. Certainly one of the most creative, eye-catching LeBron 9’s to date, there’s no release announced yet. Stick with NB though, and we’ll get you details as they emerge. After all the furor over the Nike LeBron X price breaking the $300 threshold — it won’t. ESPN’s Darren Rovell got an official comment from Nike yesterday, indicating the Plus-enabled version of the latest LeBron James signature shoe will retail for $270, $45 less than the previously-reported $315. Keep in mind, that’s the Plus version, which features actual computerized technology. It actually sounds like this is Nike responding to public sentiment rather than misinformation spreading — I still believe the price was scheduled to be $315 — but I guess how they arrived at the price is irrelevant; it’s $270, for whatever reason. The standard, non-Plus edition is still set for $180. The first Nike LeBron X release date is expected on September 29th.
