The more I’ve been looking at the Zoom LeBron VI, the more I want to like. Heavy on the patent leather, Zoom Air (ergo no visible air unit), and the dual-colored upper seem like a good idea on paper. There just haven’t been many good colorways … until now. The Nike Zoom LeBron 6 St. Vincent-St. Mary Away Edition is absolutely amazing. Only catch … [wait for it] …No release is scheduled. While the LeBron 6 St. Vincent-St. Mary HOME PE edition is scheduled to have a limited release at the House of Hoops, the Away edition—pictured here—is thus far just a team PE for LeBron’s high school. Let’s hope upon hope that this winds up getting a proper release as it is the cleanest color by far. Forest green is always a really underrated colorway, but when you combine it with gold accents and a good amount of white you’ve got an aesthetic jackpot. I’ll update this space if any release is announced. Via NikeLeBron.net
Despite his being the greatest basketball player on the planet, LeBron James’s endorsement prowess is even more impressive, at least in terms of earnings power. That said, is the new predominantly yellow Nike LeBron X Carmex an actual official collaboration with the lip balm manufacturer?Well, that’s unclear. It sort of looks like a NIKEiD, but then again LeBron James does have an endorsement deal with Carmex — really; has since 2011 — so anything is possible. Stay tuned for news, one way or the other.
